What this means
A high score does not prove abuse. It means this IP looks less like a normal residential/mobile visitor and more like proxy, VPN, cloud, hosting, Tor or automated infrastructure. Many fraud systems use similar signals together with account behavior, payments, cookies, device fingerprint and historical reputation.
Recommendations
- If Via is added by your own proxy/CDN, consider hiding it on the edge. For real diagnostics keep it visible, but explain that it may increase proxy suspicion.
- For accounts/payments/anti-fraud sensitive websites, a normal residential or mobile ISP IP usually looks more natural than AWS/VPS/datacenter ASN.
- Check browser consistency too: timezone, language, WebGL/GPU, screen size and IP country should not contradict each other.
