We send 4 ICMP echo requests from our server in Europe and show latency and packet loss.
Ping is the round-trip time to a host in milliseconds. Under 50 ms is great, 50–100 ms fine, over 150 ms noticeable in games and calls.
Many servers and firewalls block ICMP. No ping reply doesn't mean the site is down — check its status page.
Windows: Win+R → cmd → ping example.com. macOS/Linux: Terminal → ping -c 4 example.com.
